Price Rule Configuration on the Soul Marketplace Platform

Price Rule Configuration on the Soul Marketplace Platform

This documentation aims to explain the price rule settings available for resellers on the Soul Marketplace platform. Price rules are defined by the marketplace administrator and are intended to maintain consistency and competitiveness in the resale prices of products.

Types of Price Rules

The platform offers two main price configurations:

Price Range
Description: Defines a permitted price range for reselling products.
Configuration: The marketplace administrator sets a percentage margin that limits the resale price.
Example: If the price range is set to 50%, the reseller can resell the product at a price up to 50% below or 50% above the base value established.

Minimum Price
Description: Defines the minimum value at which a product can be resold.
Configuration: The administrator sets a minimum percentage above the base value.
Example: If the minimum price is set at 50%, the reseller may only resell the product at a price at least 50% higher than the base value.

Additional Settings

No Price Restrictions: The marketplace administrator may also choose not to set any range or minimum value, allowing resellers to freely define resale prices.

Best Practices for Resellers

Coordinate with the Administrator: It is recommended that resellers stay in contact with the marketplace administrator to clarify any questions regarding current price rules.
Check Frequently: Stay informed about any changes to price rules to ensure compliance with marketplace policies.
